This Privacy Notice is written in plain language so every parent can understand exactly how RealityRoot handles your information and your child's information.
We collect the minimum information needed to deliver the programme. We do not share it. We do not sell it. We do not use it for anything other than what is described in this notice.
RealityRoot is a critical thinking and media literacy programme for children aged 8 to 12 in India. It is operated by Dr. Saurabh Chandrakar, founder of RealityRoot Initiative, based in India.

We collect only what is necessary to deliver the programme and measure its outcomes. Nothing more.

Your information is used for four purposes only:
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, commercial profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

We do not share your personal data or your child's personal data with any third party.
This includes: collaborators, school partners, community experts, research institutions, advertisers, and any other individual or organisation. The only exception is anonymised aggregate data used in academic research publications — this data contains no names, no contact details, and no information that could identify any individual family or child.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, every person under 18 is classified as a child. RealityRoot applies the highest level of care to all data relating to enrolled children.

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your or your child's personal data, RealityRoot will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. We will tell you what happened, what data was affected, and what steps we are taking to address it.
These are absolute commitments. No exceptions.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make any significant change to how we handle your data, we will notify you via WhatsApp at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The most current version is always available at realityroot.in.
This Privacy Notice is governed by the laws of India including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the DPDP Rules 2025. Any dispute relating to this notice is subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
