The Problem No One Is Solving

Think about what your child saw online last week. A photograph shared in a family WhatsApp group. A video that seemed too surprising to be true. An AI chatbot that agreed with everything they said. Most of us scrolled past without stopping. Our children did too.

Children today are spending more time on screens than any generation before them. The research is clear — this is creating anxiety, irritability, emotional dependency, and impulsive behaviour in children aged 8 to 12. And at the same time, AI systems are arriving that were built to exploit exactly those vulnerabilities. Manipulated images. AI companions designed to feel like real friends. Stories told to make you feel before you think. Beauty standards invented by algorithms. A child who has been trained by screens to react without pausing is the most vulnerable target for everything AI is quietly doing.

Every solution so far says the same thing — take away the phone. Set limits. Reduce screen time. But 83% of Indian children are already beyond those limits and the number rises every year. Restriction without skills is a wall that keeps getting lower.

RealityRoot builds something different. An internal skill — the habit of pausing before reacting — that works for every hour a child is already on screens. And an active parent layer — weekly guides and a parent community — that makes the habit stick at home. Together they address what rules alone never can.

10–15 minutes per week.

Habits that last far longer than the programme.

The School Curriculum Gap

India's new national school curriculum introduces AI education from Class 3 onwards. It teaches children how AI works — its logic, patterns, and functions. That is an important foundation.

RealityRoot addresses a different question that the school curriculum does not cover: what does AI do to how a child thinks, feels, and sees themselves? These are not competing questions. They are complementary. A child who has both is significantly better equipped than one who has either alone.

Simple to Follow. Built to Last.

No app. No login. Arrives where your family already is.

01

A short video, every week

A 10–15 minute video delivered directly to your WhatsApp. Designed to hold a child's attention and leave one idea that stays.

02

A discussion card with questions

One for your child alone. One for you both together. One observation to carry through the week.

03

A parent companion guide

Explains what your child learned and how to continue the conversation at home — without needing to watch the session first.

04

A short offline written activity

One per week. Done on paper, away from any screen. Research confirms that tactile offline learning produces more durable habit formation than screen-only approaches.

Built by a Medical Professional and a Trained Educator

We built RealityRoot because we kept seeing the same thing — children who are sharp, curious, and kind, being shaped by environments designed to bypass their thinking rather than develop it. We are educators and medical professionals who believe thinking clearly is the most important skill a child can have.

RealityRoot was developed in collaboration with child psychology, AI literacy, media literacy, and curriculum design experts. It draws on peer-reviewed research in child development, digital wellbeing, and the psychology of human-AI interaction. Every session is built around one principle: a child who knows how to pause and think clearly is a child who can navigate anything.
